Becoming0.1

 

Becoming0.1 consists of a film (on loop) embedded within clay work.  The unfired earthenware vessel measures aprox 60cm high.  The viewer is again invited to put on headphones and view a film through the vessel mouth, intimately engaging in a physical as well as hyperreal experience.

This film invites biological and speculative fictions from the imagined perspective of the clay itself allowing critter-like hands to take on a more sympoietic relationship with the vessel’s becoming.
