About Emma Marks

Emma Marks is a clay thinker, ceramic vessel maker and an art educator.

Emma recently graduated from an MA in Ceramics at the Royal College of Art.  She currently teaches ceramics as a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire.

Her investigative practice explores new ways to understand the relationship between maker and matter. Her installations offer the viewer new encounters using ceramics, sound and film.

On June 25th & 26th 2022, Emma will be exhibiting ceramics and film in a solo show: Sensual Encounters at The Back Room - a small gallery space at Copeland Park and the Bussey Building in Peckham.
